Why Should You Use KeepersLog?

Granted you can do a lot of the same stuff using a spreadsheet or even just a plain paper notebook, but KeepersLog is better for several reasons:

History
KeepersLog automatically tracks when items were checked in or out and who did it. It also keeps track of past checkouts, so if you need to fit your team with items they already used you know who already used what.
Different views and reports
You want to know where all your hats are? Click on "hats" under your "Item Types" page. You want to know every item Sue has checked out? Go to Sue's "Member" page to find out. You want a list of every item still checked out? There's a page for that too. All the pages link to each other, so when you click on Sue's hat it will take you to the checkout history of that hat, and another click will take you to current checkout status for all the hats.
Multi-User Friendly
yes, multiple people can edit the same Google spreadsheet, but it's also pretty easy for one person to mess up the whole spreadsheet for everybody by incorrectly deleting a column or a bunch of rows. With KeepersLog only one entry is changed at a time, and there are consistency checks to prevent some common mistakes.
Phone Friendly
you may want to initially enter your inventory using a laptop because typing on a laptop is a little faster. After that checking stuff in and out on your phone is a piece of cake. For that matter, adding the occasional new item to KeepersLog using a phone is pretty easy too.
